Hand painted icon of Saint Mary and Saint Catherine made with real 23.75 carat gold on linden board.
All stages of icon production are handmade. Made according to the ancient Byzantine technique.
All materials used by our workshop for writing icons are natural and eco-friendly.
The icon was created on a linden board. The board is covered with chalk gesso, a relief created using rabbit glue and chalk. Plated with real 23.75 carat gold. The composition itself is made with egg tempera.
This icon is available to purchase and also can be made to order Size: ⬜ 30x22 (12”х8.7”)
If the customer needs another size, the process of creating new icon is from 6 to 21 days.
